DICE Access Control

DICE Access Control (DAC) is the preeminent access control software system available on the market today. It is the first enterprise level card access system that works with your automation system to integrate monitoring for environmental systems, IT security, intrusion, and video, as well as facilitate data collection for employee attendance, payroll, and point-of-sale (POS) retail reporting. DAC was developed in cooperation with HID VertX CS, leaders in card management systems, for the company's VertX CS platform (view VertX CS brochure). This open-architecture platform allows DICE Corporation to customize the firmware on the access control hardware to send signals and data to an automation system. Because DAC was developed with the Microsoft.NET platform, it can be deployed globally over the Internet for companies with many sites and installations.

DAC has the capacity to physically connect areas of security to network and computer security. For instance, if an employee who works in an office environment on a PC swiped their card before entering their office, DAC can unlock their computer and automatically log them in without even a keystroke. With the correct type of equipment, this access can even be based on the proximity of the card to the computer. This also offers medical professionals who comply with HIPAA to do so with the assurance that only those people who should have access to medical records can gain entry to a patient file room. A system of this nature also eliminates the need for personnel to have or remember multiple passwords.

V1000 - Access control processing and control interface for up to 32 door/reader interface, input monitor, or output control units.

V2000 - Access control processing and host interface for two readers/doors.

V300- Output control processing for up to 12 devices.

V200 - Input monitor interface -alarm input processing for up to 16 zones
