Outbound Faxing
DICE Fax is designed to automate and integrate faxing to dealers, companies
and sites. Users can fax various batch reports, AM notifications and memos. A
wealth of information can be set up to automatically fax, reducing the labor and
time lost in a manual fax environment. Multiple faxes can be handled simultaneously.
- DICE Fax allows you to set parameters to control and customize how you interact
with dealers and other fax recipients. Parameters can be set for such things
as the company name and default AM Notify, batch report, and memo subjects.
You can set up dealers to be fax enabled and identify which options are available
to them and also identify the maximum number of fax attempts allowed.
- The fax package allows an operator with the appropriate access to generate
memos to be faxed to dealers, customers and clients. This allows dispatchers
to stay in contact with dealers, corporations and security managers.
- The fax system allows you to view history for all outgoing faxes. It shows
what time the fax was sent, how many pages were sent, the phone number the
information was sent to, the status of the call (such as, normal send, line
drop, no answer, errors, time out, busy or canceled) and the number of attempts
made.
- You can enable or disable a fax device, check the status of the queue, cancel
a fax or review information on the status of the fax devices. You can also
start or stop the scheduler, which manages the fax traffic.
- You can set up classes of modems, with up to 128 modems in a class. The
class can be used as a "hunt group" so that if the first modem is
busy, the system will try the second modem in the class, etc.
