Multi-site
Redundancy
DICE has customized a solution that allows live multi-site redundancy for clients
to run two monitoring stations with live monitoring for both sites.
Two central stations utilize two in-house redundant servers that replicate one another, each synchronizing data to the other machine. Both locations run using the redundant server set up. Simultaneously, each central station runs live and monitors data in real-time which is passed back and forth to the central stations allowing them send data to one another for a complete bi-directional data-flow solution. DICE Central Station Monitoring Software directs the data betweenthe two central stations through a network. If either station encounters problems receiving signals due to an outage or weather conditions, the other station continues to monitor signals.
The bi-directional advanced setup will virtually eliminate any monitoring interruptions caused by disasters related to weather or other emergency situations thanks to the new systems' redundancy. The new system delivers data replication, data recovery, system analysis, and ensures accuracy of previously entered data.
