Dan Cannon


Tenure with Company: 30 Years

Dan Cannon is a senior leader at DICE Corporation with nearly three decades of experience supporting the company’s growth and technical evolution. Currently leading the Conversion Department, Dan focuses on complex data migrations, ensuring customers experience seamless transitions while preserving the integrity and reliability of their systems.

Dan began his career in the security industry in 1990 as a Central Station Operator before spending six years installing security systems in the field. This hands-on experience provided him with a deep understanding of both operational and technical challenges faced by monitoring centers. He joined DICE Corporation in 1997 and has since played a key role in supporting customers and internal teams across multiple initiatives. In July 2026, Dan will celebrate 30 years with DICE.

A graduate of Saginaw Valley State University, Dan studied Computer Science in the early 1990s. He also proudly served four years in the United States Air Force with the 437th Aerial Port Squadron in Charleston, South Carolina, bringing a strong foundation of discipline and teamwork to his professional career.

Outside of work, Dan is a dedicated family man with three adult sons and three granddaughters. He has spent over 14 years volunteering in Little League organizations, coaching baseball at multiple levels and most recently serving four years as a Girls Varsity Softball coach.
