Clifford Dice

  • Clifford Dice is the president, CEO, and founder of DICE Corporation. Under Cliff’s leadership, DICE Corporation has helped shape safety and security in North America for over 30 years, creating products and solutions used by some of the world’s largest companies.

    A Bay City, Michigan native, Cliff obtained a degree in accounting and computing technology from Northwood University and worked for Dow Chemical and Dow Corning. He later formed a software consulting company, where he was challenged by a security monitoring company to write an accounting solution that others had tried but were unable to successfully develop. Loving a challenge, Cliff found a way to create the software, which led to the beginning of DICE Corporation.

    Today, DICE Corporation is one of the fastest-growing providers of services for a wide range of users, including alarm centers, video centers, integrators, healthcare providers, telecom application industries, and more. During his tenure, Cliff has been the visionary behind over 70 software modules and services, including alarm monitoring, video surveillance, business management, and telecom solutions. DICE Corporation also operates the industry’s largest cloud alarm hosting center, which supplies millions of subscribers with direct service and alarm signaling telecom services.

  • Jerry Corrion is DICE Corporation’s senior vice president of software development and is responsible for leading the software, telephony, and support teams to create innovative solutions and ensure products meet the needs of our customers. Jerry graduated from Western Michigan University in 1995 with a degree in aviation science and started working with DICE as a corporate pilot, flying equipment and personnel to client sites.

    Shortly after joining the company, Jerry was promoted to the support department as a tier one alarm support technician and was eventually promoted to support department manager. To better serve clients, Jerry taught himself programming and changed departments to become a developer. In 2013, he was promoted to his present position where he oversees all development and support at DICE and IPtelX.

    Jerry still maintains his certified flight instructor license and enjoys outdoor activities like camping and boating during the summer in Michigan. He also maintains an active role in running the family farm that has been passed down for generations. Jerry is married and has two adult children, a 29-year-old daughter, and a 22-year-old son.

Jen Balash

Senior Vice President & Head of Global Sales

Tenure with Company: 17 Years

  • Jen Balash is the Senior Vice President & Head of Global Sales at DICE Corporation and IPtelX. In this role, Jen leads a growing account management team and works closely with clients to build relationships, introduce and implement new products, and assist with the migration of special projects. Jen studied business management at Oakland University and joined the DICE sales team in 2009. With an upbeat and outgoing personality, Jen started attending industry conferences with the DICE leadership team shortly after joining the company and discovered her passion for working with prospects and clients.

    Jen’s role expanded in 2011 to assist clients with major projects, facilitate new product rollouts, and build systems tailored to their needs. In this position, she deepened her client relationships and found fulfillment in helping them achieve their goals and grow their businesses. Her success in building long-lasting client partnerships led to a promotion to Director of Account Management in 2013, and in 2024 she was promoted to Senior Vice President & Head of Global Sales.

    In addition to her busy work schedule, Jen is proud to maintain a family-focused lifestyle outside of work. She is blessed with four outstanding children (ages 20, 17, 14, and 13).

Vanessa Schwerin

Director of Software & Telecom Support

  • Vanessa has been a cornerstone of DICE Corporation for nearly two decades, bringing deep institutional knowledge and hands-on leadership to the organization. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Management in 2005 and has built her career around supporting both customers and internal teams with dedication and consistency.

    Vanessa first joined DICE in the support department from 1999 to 2001 before returning to the company in 2006. Since then, she has worked her way through nearly every department, gaining a comprehensive understanding of DICE operations from the ground up.

    Today, Vanessa manages the Support and Telephony teams and oversees the day-to-day operations of the dispatch center. Over the years, she has played a key role in building and strengthening these departments, helping shape processes and workflows that support DICE’s customers and partners around the clock.

    Vanessa continues to focus on delivering reliable support and maintaining the high standards that customers have come to expect from the company.
